How I can go in developing a coherent marketing strategy and suitable for a proposed chain of cafes and I am also looking for ideas on potential sales opportunities cross and strategic alliances.
I would assume you have previous experience in the management of Internet cafes, as well as several African countries. I think the best strategy would be: 1) Place a small chain of Internet cafes in the port. Then, for master franchisees in other countries. These master franchises have more depth and understanding of their country to roll with your coffee to suit different markets and regulations of their countries. 2) Get a grant of United States or another country (perhaps in Singapore or the UK) and go to the master franchise for all of Africa. Once again, for the reasons mentioned above. 3) If you have a lot of money investors can buy or chains established internet cafes in different countries and centralize management their jurisdiction. My recommendations are based on a principle that respect: 1) Do not reinvent the wheel. Simply twist. So my recommendation to get only one established franchise or to acquire existing cafes. 2) Give the local marketing and operations of local competent people who have a deep knowledge of the territory.
